1. Introduction (Cycling is more environmentally friendly than other forms of transport)

State the problem (by paraphrasing from the question)

Thesis statement (deal with 2 things: the reasons why cycling is not popular and the solutions)

2. Body

• Cycling is not favored by many people for a variety of reasons

     Subjective reasons:

• It’s time consuming and sometimes maybe tiring
• It’s implausible for long distance travelling
• There are not many cycling lanes, thus it may seem dangerous

     Objective reasons:

• Many people lead a sedentary lifestyle, avoiding strenuous activities à would prefer other types of transport (car, motorbike)

• There is still a lot we can do to make cycling a more popular choice among people

• A proper road system should be planned to create the ideal condition for people to cycle
• Limit the use of other private vehicles (car, motorbikes.. ) by charging scheme
• Raising people’s awareness of having much exercise and how environmentally important it is to travel by bicycles

3. Conclusion
